LOGO AND NAME
In searching for a name I began with the word 'machine' because it represents a combination of components working in harmony to a perform a task precisely.
Machine derives from the Latain term 'machina' which is itself a form of the greek word 'mekhane'. When I saw that the source of that word I knew I had arrived-
"mekhos (greek μῆχος) means, expedient, remedy, solution"
The curves in the two circles represent thoughts or ideas, an iterative approach, narrowing down to a concentrated point. The straight lines represent the corner of a sketch pad. Both components converge at the point that is the "solution" or design.
Where the organic idea meets the structure of paper Mekhos is born
